Terms of Service

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Bimbeli. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use our Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.

Account Responsibility

• •You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• •You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
• •You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• •You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• •One person or entity may not maintain more than one account

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• •Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• •Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• •Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• •Attempt to bypass our payment system or service fees
• •Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• •Use automated systems to access the Service without permission

Qualifications & Verification

Tutors must provide accurate information about their qualifications, experience, and expertise. We reserve the right to verify credentials and request supporting documentation. Misrepresentation of qualifications may result in account suspension or termination.

Session Obligations

• •Honor all confirmed bookings or provide 24 hours notice for cancellations
• •Provide quality tutoring services as described in your profile
• •Maintain professional conduct during all sessions
• •Keep your availability calendar up to date

Service Fees

Bimbeli keeps a 5% platform fee on each successful session. Tutors receive 95% of the session fee. Payments are processed weekly on Mondays for all completed sessions from the previous week, subject to a minimum withdrawal balance of Rp 100,000. Platform fees are subject to change with prior notice to tutors.

Google Calendar Integration

Tutors may optionally connect their Google Calendar to enable automatic availability checking and session scheduling.

• •By connecting your Google Calendar, you authorize Bimbeli to read your calendar events and create tutoring session events
• •We use calendar data solely for scheduling purposes and checking your availability
• •You may disconnect your calendar at any time, which immediately revokes our access
• •Calendar integration is optional - tutors can manage availability manually without connecting Google Calendar

Booking & Attendance

• •Attend all booked sessions on time or provide 24 hours notice for cancellations
• •Treat tutors with respect and professionalism
• •Be prepared for sessions with necessary materials
• •Provide honest feedback after sessions

WhatsApp Notifications

Bimbeli uses WhatsApp Business API to send important session-related notifications. By providing your WhatsApp number, you agree to:

• •Receive booking confirmations and session reminders via WhatsApp
• •Receive notifications about schedule changes, cancellations, or important updates
• •Allow Bimbeli to store your phone number securely for notification purposes
• •Understand that WhatsApp notifications are optional and can be disabled by removing your number from your profile

Opting Out

You can opt out of WhatsApp notifications at any time by removing your WhatsApp number from your profile settings. After opting out, you will only receive notifications via email. Note that some critical communications (such as booking confirmations) will always be sent via email regardless of your WhatsApp preferences.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through our payment partner Xendit. We accept GoPay, OVO, DANA, QRIS, bank transfers, and credit/debit cards. Payment is charged immediately upon booking confirmation.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

• •Cancellations 24+ hours before session: Full refund
• •Cancellations 12-24 hours before: 50% refund
• •Cancellations less than 12 hours before: No refund
• •Tutor no-shows: Full refund within 2 business days

Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-7 business days.
